AF Lock and Full Press Snap

Hi folks. First post. I'm a little confused about some of the ways in which the AF and the Snap Focus on the GR (V) operate. A couple of hours worth of reading forums and blogs have not clarified one central question, so here it is: If I am in Spot Focus mode, with Full Press Snap enabled, and used the AF button to lock focus, and I have selected the option whereby AF Lock engages when you press the AF-Lock button, then you have to press AF-Lock again to un-lock focus, what happens if you then press the shutter button all the way down in one go? Does Full Press Snap still override the locked AF? Let's say I've locked focus on a subject that's 6 meters away. Then I turn and aim at a subject that's 1.5 meters away (my chosen snap focus distance), and press the shutter button rapidly: does the camera retain the 6 meter focus, or snap to 1.5?

Cheers

Full Press Snap does not override AF-lock when releasing the shutter in one go. When you lock AF, camera switches to MF at the distance AF was locked on, which by definition disables Snap. The idea is that in MF, be it switched manually or with AF lock to, you`re able to press rapidly release moving the camera while it keeps the set distance. You have to press AEL/AFL button again to return to AF where Snap works.
