Today i went to a abbey to drink a Dutch Trappist beer
Here are som "GXR-pictures":

The Dutch brewery De Koningshoeven produces the only Dutch Trappist beers—branded La Trappe—that are able to carry the "Authentic Trappist Product" logo.

In my experience (I stayed a few month in Belgium (long ago) and could try a lot of different beers, including Trappiste-beers) that kind of beer is sooooo strong.

I've tried 'Tripel Trappiste' in Belgium. Now I understand why the Trappiste monks don't try to say anything.

Yes, I used Spot AF on those pictures.

Nice set of photos -- reminds me somewhat of Maredsous in Belgium (long ago that we were there...). I think they have also triple-brewed...

Yes, I used Spot AF on those pictures.

I just checked my GX200 manual and I can't find a way to move the AF spot from the centre. Is the ability to move the spot focus something the GXR has that the GX200 doesn't, or have I missed something :?:

OK, so now I read the GX200 manual some more and learned how to adjust the position of the spot focus, and the exposure metering too.

Thanks Genster for encouraging me to find out more about these great cameras!

Very nice set Genster and enjoyed the blur play of the beer and sign images of 4 & 5 .... different levels of consumtion could give rise to a similar effect

odd to see the Monks behind the counter taking in the money , needs must i suppose .

Maybe I interpreted your question is not quite right
I use the central focus point and first focus and press the shutter button halfway. Than I create the composition and I shoot. I hope now I have answered your question correctly.
