I don't know how you manage to get this close to bugs...maybe the heat makes them lazy? Anyway, 2 super shots with #1 just a gnat's whisker ahead for me.

Thanks for looking everyone!

There are thousands of dragonflies in the air right now. For some reason, many were resting in an olive grove here. Every time I approached a tree, about twenty would fly out. This one lingered around for a bit longer - managed to approach it and get 5 shots before it also sensed me and flew away. Perhaps the fact that there was strong sunlight coming from the side "blinded" it a bit to my presence...or just luck.

A huge swarm of locusts also came in from the west (Egypt), and came down on fields about 2 hours north of here.

PX shines again quester. As often said, it is the camera in the pocket that takes the best pictures!
