A little bit different from the traditional "street photography". Passed by this row of brightly color houses while out for a walk.
Not sure which version I like better.
Its always cool to "see how the half live", seems a nice street, plenty of room. I prefer the second version.
If images like this survive its will be interesting for those in the future to be able to look back on how it used to be. Someone once told me though, that the street images that tend to get looked at in the future at are the ones with people in them - not entirely true though I think.
The first image fits better my current "winter mood", the second one is a bit too much on this LCD. Nonetheless, it depends on what you as the author wanted to say us the viewers.
By the way, excuse my curiosity... a big red five-tips star by the door... what a city is it?
The street is in Provo, Utah on a cold but sunny day. The streets were almost empty, and on this one in particular it almost seemed as if everyone just got up and left. I don't think I quite captured the light well enough to show this.

Both shots have their own value - the first shot gives a bleak, clean, wintery feel, which has certain appeal, whereas the second shot highlights the striking colours in the street and shows that it's bright and sunny, which contrasts with the leaveless trees on a winter's day, giving a warm feeling to winter. I like both equally for those reasons .
