4 days' drawing art on a wall

I timelapsed two friends creating an art commission for a design agency.

I was all photographed using my GRDIII with CW2 lens
4 Days of painting, 12,000 photos.
Each frame is a blend of 4 photos, taken 10 seconds apart,
The 100 photos shown in a second are equivalent to 16m 40s painting.

that is a very intense timelapse you have made.
Quite intriguing to watch.

I liked the panning and manual zooming you did during the "filming"
Of course a congratulations to the artists who did the wall.
Its curious to see they did a lot of foreground first rather than the other way round.

I wonder if the office who had the art done could equally have your film on display at the same location. :)

Thanks, it was fun to make, although my role on-site was limited to changing the battery in the camera every 4.5 hours, making tea and fetching lunch :)

All the panning and zooming was done in adobe aftereffects, but even with the CW2 I had so many spare pixels to play with I only needed to zoom past 100% once.

What you can't see clearly is that the first thing they did was to sketch the whole thing out in pencil, which probably helped doing the foreground.

Because they are a design agency they have big plans for the timelapse, whatever that means.

Very interesting project with a superb outcome: stunningly professional...very well done! :D
