28mm APSC Lens in the shops.....

i am writing you from my work. i just got the information from ricoh germany that the 28mm lens will be in the shop at the 20.Nov.2011 and the price is 600.- € ( 569.- ?! in the shops ?? ).

At Foto-Koch (Düsseldorf, Germany) the A12/28 module has been announced for long. But it is still scheduled for the end of November -- and at at a disappointing price of 670 EUR:

Up to now, I did not find any other German dealer who offers the A12/28 module. Hopefully, this will change soon.

Hello again,
i`ll buy cameras and things for the shop i work for and i am in a good connection to Ricoh germany. Today i`ll got the official information of the price in germany ( europe ) and that the 20th of Nov. is the start for the 28mm in germany. The price of our denish "lucky one" is not official and probably without Danish and European warranty. I will sell the 28mm in Frankfurt for 569.- and i am shure this is a very good offer of Ricoh for this lens.

I am shure that all the other dealers will change the price and the date of appearance in some days. And then the old game starts again: who ordered first, sells first..... ;)

P.S.: die UVP von Ricoh ist 600.- Euro - nicht mehr als das bezahlen - besser weniger...... ;)

My lens comes with full Warranty, and got for a good price at my local camerashop. I paid in the shop 4.300 D.kr. :)

If i change this to €, it is a very good price. You should go to your dealer and bring him a cake or something to drink. A very good lens for a very good price........support your local dealers.... ;)

I just placed an order with Adorama. Sadly I have not seen any shops around that carry Ricoh, Would love to handle it and buy from the local shop than buying from the big boys...
 
I was this close to buying the 28mm from Adorama a couple of nights ago. I had it in the cart and everything. I just couldn't pull the trigger.

Maybe this week . ;)
 
Heh you are probably not emotionally ready to justify the purchase? Just wait few days-weeks when some more examples and user experiences appear. There is no need to make a hurry purchase. It will still be there and wait for you! ;)
