quester, most of my shots are taken within 10 miles of home...the Black Isle is quite varied with forest, arable land (barley, potatoes, rape), pasture (beef cattle, sheep) and a coast line with cliffs & caves on one side and mud flats on the other.
We plant a few hundred off-shoots every year, and thus enlarge the orchard. Off-shoots are the traditional way of propagating date palms, the more modern method is through tissue culture. Both have advantages and disadvantages.
Hey Roni, you should get a PX - you can take it everywhere, you just point and shoot, and the forum has scientifically concluded that there's no difference between it and the GXR !
