Looks more like a building site than a farm...what will you be planting here?

Nice picture - you can spend some time looking for symbolism with the gauntlet.

By way of a total contrast here is my 'PAD' - rather overcast.

More date saplings - off-shoots, actually...will post a pic tomorrow to make it clearer.

Richard, your pics seem quite diverse in scenery - do you travel around a lot, or is your locality so varied?

Super shot Roni - great light.

quester, most of my shots are taken within 10 miles of home...the Black Isle is quite varied with forest, arable land (barley, potatoes, rape), pasture (beef cattle, sheep) and a coast line with cliffs & caves on one side and mud flats on the other.

Richard

Thank you Blow-in. Very good photos from you and from quester.

Three photographs from the same day - not bad for the forum!
Unfortunately for me, I only have time for photography during the weekends (generally).

We plant a few hundred off-shoots every year, and thus enlarge the orchard. Off-shoots are the traditional way of propagating date palms, the more modern method is through tissue culture. Both have advantages and disadvantages.

Hey Roni, you should get a PX - you can take it everywhere, you just point and shoot, and the forum has scientifically concluded that there's no difference between it and the GXR ! :D ;)
