I see lot's of excitement with GXR order's and arrival's, but I'm so excited as that with my new GX200 toys ;-)

Rui,
This looks sad and very painful :( . I wish you all the best and a full recovery - I can't say quick as the body takes its own time :) . Enjoy your new camera!.

Hi Chris, and thanks

Fortunately this is a "finaly I've got a doctor that gave me the attention I needed" situation. It was an old complaint from my knee, and badly treated for years. So the surgery was very welcome, and hopefully all it wil be fine in a matter of weeks.

Now this is amazing, I never had a pain in the knee, after the surgery, only now during fisiotherapy exercices. But pain has a good place on the cure process ;-)

In the end, I'm sorry if I gave a "negative" feeling on the photo, because it has a positive one. I mean, finally I can walk, even slowly and with supports. And I felt the need to take a shot, and what a difficult process it was to handle the camera and the crutches, but it felt very good :)

Yes, considering the GX200 accessories I bought (VF-1; HA-2; DW-6; UV+CPL+ND graduated, filters) it will feel like a new camera, great!

Oh, and now I see how can a neck strap be usefull, glady I could adapt one from my SLR ;-)

Best wishes here too Rui from me and my family.
I hope your new GX200 toys will take your mind off the pain!

Thanks guys!

Only a few days left to open the gifts... to be honest I haven't wrap them yet, but my wife is very "rigorous" about Christmas... well, she knows my childish side, so she must be really stiff with me...

I wish you a merry christmas & a speedy recovery. I too am awaiting my new toy, a DW-6. It seams everyone here knows what they want for christmas. Get well soon.

Rui,

Good to hear you'll be back in full 'photo mode soon, have a great Christmas & enjoy the presents :D :D

Thanks, Phil and David!

Phil, I'm excited about the possibility of placing a filter before DW-6. I will try it with a CPL and a ND graduated (not sure yet if it will fit) but the chances for exploring improve's a lot with the HA-2

Rui, I don't want to be a joy killer, but I think that if you add anything before DW6, it will start vignetting? But maybe nothing dramatic? Definitely worth a try!

Pavel, thanks, and don't worry: no joy of exploring will be killed

I didn't thought about vignetting, but maybe there's still some space to crop, or to work with the zoom? Anyway, my main purpose is to use the filters with the HA-2. If they work with DW-6, it's fine, if not, it's still fine ;-)

43mm Ø exploration.
I just picked up a DW-4 with 37mm Ø that screws on to the G600 & a GH-1 / GRD2. Its 0.8x wide 21mm, nice little add on.
Adaptors are the way to go. Have fun Rui.
