10 acres of water

On farmland in Margaretting, Essex. I was invited by the farmer to take this shot. He dug this lake in 1963 and he planted all of the trees too.

In fact, this is 8 shots stitched together on the iPad. Taken with my trusty GRD3 on a tripod with remote trigger.

10 acres of water has some beautiful colours. They work well together.
The fungi looks alien like. The depth of field just adds to its size. Nice.

The mushroom must be Macrolepiota procera (aka the Parasol Mushroom), one tasty sort with pleasant aroma when dried. It can also be eaten fresh just fried like a steak.
