I´ve made a fast test of this "almost-fish eye lens" with my GRII. The effect is quite interesting. I´m planning to do a series with this lens. The optics fits perfectly in the 37mm ring of the Ricoh´s lens adaptor.

Nice experiment! To be honest, I'm more tele guy so fish eye lenses are out of my interest. But I can see their usability for some artistic purposes ;)

Yes, I also prefer 28-135 mm (35 mm film analogic) focus distance range as well. In this case, I´m preparing a series about all life convicted people in my country´s jails, and I hope the 12mm will give some "Claustrophobic " sense of the place. I´m thinking in Stanley Kubrik´s The Shining. Thanks for your reply.
