Thanks, but unless I'm missing something... there doesn't seem to be a way to have it shipped to the US via the uk or french site... the country dropbox only has one country. I've tried this numerous times.

Nope, I tried to order a spare today. No option for shipping other than UK. Since this camera is gaining popularity in USA, perhaps Ricoh will make them available.
