Which CX camera should I get ?

Hi there

I am very happy with my GRD3 except with no zoom, if I am planning to get a CX DC with zoom, which DC should I get to get equal or similar image quality of my GRD3 ?

Please kindly advise.

At this point of time, I would wait for CX6. It could be out anytime from now. There may not be anything "exciting" in the CX6, but one never knows (e.g. RAW, wider/faster lens, who knows?). Then you can decided if you want the newest model or if you want to save few bucks. Generally speaking, you can't go wrong with CX3 and higher. I would avoid CX1 because it was first of its kind. And the CX2 was not refined enough

I have seen the CX5 for "only" €202 and the specs are looking good too me. The CX6 (so I expected) will be even better

The CX series refresh so fast, I'd get a cheap CX5 now, and maybe a cheap CX6 in six months when I'm sure they'll be announcing the CX7? :^D They seem to have very marginal upgrades from version to version. I just purchased a CX5 yesterday for $129, and am happy with it so far.
