where to buy ricoh GR D IV in the philippines

Hi good day, i hope you can help me, I am an aspiring street photographer, and would love to upgrade my poor quality digicam*.
I saw only one distributing here in the philippines but all the gr IVs are sold out. The story is, they said it was not the stores decision not to reSTOCK, but they said ricoh philippines decided to stop supplying here. can you please confirm this or give more clear explanation? all they have now is the GR III and they also said they are just waiting for it to be all sold. Can you please help me find my way to get the GR iV? or maybe you have other trusted online sellers you can point me to?

Hi, just checked with the seller I bought my grd iv from last year and indeed only the ii and iii are in stock. It may be better then for you to buy in hk or sg. Or you can buy the grd iii, very capable and almost similar to the iv.

thanks, did you by chance bought it from happylyn from sulit?
i may consider buying from hk or sg, anyway you can teach me or point out a site that sells it, with honest seller. Thanks!!! i am really not familiar with online buying >.<

Yup I got it from happylyn. She is a red dot phils agent and easy to transact with. They are also the fujifilm and oly distributors here, and probably ricoh cameras do not sell as many compared to these brands.

You can still buy the grd iii from her. I think it has the same sensor as the iv. The updates of the iv are is and a better screen - I can live without those especially when street shooting. You don't lose the snap focus.

ah o i see, so they are exclusive seller or ricoh gr IV series I guess. I really feel bad, I wish I delved into street photography early on, so I could have decided that I will do need a fast lens ( the snapfocus is awesome too i guess ). now I guess the only GR III are available, and I can live with that, I was just more keen to buy the GR IV cause it only was 15k i think from her, and it was in my budget range, ( really funny, cause I was really eyeing for a canon t41 and had my budget in that range,) then came across street photography and how awesome it is, then decided to just to upgrade on the GR series.

so the gr III is still ok right? so not much change with the gr III and IV? ill make comparisons too. THanks for the info!
