They are marked cards! The filled in white parts of the circular symbols with the twelve 'petals' in the four corners of each card tell you what the card is.

Wrong? Not sure. Only the cards are marked. They differ in their backside patterns in the top-left "flower". A professional's must have set?

Hehe, no... I've had this deck for years, decades even.
I could never "read" the marks quick enough anyway so I never could cheat with them.
