Prices continue to decrease - wonder what's going on?

Could just be slowing sales.
Lately I've observed cameras that have recently been discontinued tend to rise in price dramatically.
Its like sellers are trying to cash in on an unobtainable item or difficult to get item.
Sometimes some stores clear them out cheap like what happened to the GXR. Some modules plummeted in price.
But try finding a cheap new GR IV now. They bottomed out and went back up.

Sometimes we need to not angst over the price. Buy something and get out and make images.
I need to take my own advice on this more than anyone.

I know what you mean Tim.
However, as much as I can "arrange" things logically in my head, I still am pretty sure that at some point the dust issue will be addressed by Ricoh - the only question is will it be before or after I succumb to buying the present one. I really hate having buyer's remorse, as this is a good sum of money for me - and no simple way for me to send the camera off for cleaning, repair, etc.
