Very fine and most atmospheric images with beautifuly calming colour - especially the second ;)

but this is most strange ..... i have just seen the film ' The day the earth stood still ' not the original of 1951 but the re-make of 2008 , nearing the ending of the movie there was a tunnel beneath a bridge which gave refuge from the cleansing locust like nanobot creatures , in there -there was a lady and child .... but also there was Klaatu :D

Kort .

:)

OK, you got me. I am still on earth...... :ugeek:

here is why i love KLAATU: first = http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=192
second = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Klaatu_barada_nikto + http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0970416/

the first time i saw the movie ( b/w from 1951 ) i was 8 years old and totally fascinated. The first time i heard the record from the canadian band was
in 1976. It is a wonder ( and a VERY hard wish of my ex - wive ) that my son is not baptized on that name..... :)

thanks .... as i was reminded :idea: that the most well known Carpenter's song of "Calling Occupants Of Interplanetary Craft" was a cover version of the the original song by Klaatu :cool:

and for sure ...i preferred the original 1951 version of the film ;)
btw ... as we all have names- and a lot the same - i think Klaatu as good as any :D

Regards Gort ...i mean Kort :lol:
