[Blow-in]

The straw from this field of spring barley was half baled when it started to rain - what's left on the ground will need to be turned again before having another go. What attracted me to this scene was the lonely bale with all the others on the far side of the field.

Looks too well rounded to be an introvert - but perhaps a bit baleful (to the others)?

Genster thanks - pleased I took the shot as I've just walked the field again with the dogs and they've baled the rest of the straw so it's far less interesting.
