Richard kindly offered to take me on an MG motor outing: these give a flavour of the day though I must admit to not having my camera to hand for most of it!

Andy

PS I see I have stripped the EXIF information again... :?
These were all from DNG files shot with the GXR + A12 50mm macro.

Great work guys, and I am just a tad jealous that I didn't get to come along.
I am guessing the MG was a two seater anyway?!

Hi Tim,

Mine is a 'modern' MG - a MGF - but nevertheless an 'open' 2 seater so I subjected Andy to some wind in the hair motoring despite the cool autumn weather. Part of the day out was a visit to the Moray Motor Museum including a private visit to the workshops which is where Andy took his shots (yes, those cars are in the workshop, not the public display area). I had the GXR S10 with me mainly to record for the Highland MG Owners' Club rather than take any thing too 'artistic' but here are a few from me (even though this is the A12 50 area).

Hi Richard,

The MG is quite well regarded in Australia.
Many of them are driven in Adelaide's classic "Bay To Birdwood" - http://www.baytobirdwood.com.au/

I never have owned one but -
I have a friend who has a MG-TC that is driven on special occasions.
I had another mate's MGB stored in my shed for a 6 months, that was sky blue, no softtop only the torneau cover and another friend bought a MGB coupe and did the Rover V8 conversion.

I did come close to buying a Midget once and a 1958 Sedan I think it was on another occasion.

I've really enjoyed your images.
