Tips for editing GR images on a smartphone

Sorry, it is again a Sean Tucker video, but he is just doing very good videos also for GR photographers Daumenhoch Smilie

In this video he shows how he is editing the photos of his Ricoh GR on his smartphone:

Great video, super happy the forum is up and running. After my fujifilm x100f was stolen I decided to go for a more pocketable camera… and was inspired to buy the GRIIIX by Sean Tucker, I must say. I do all my editing on the iPad mini in VSCO.
It’s only my first weeks with the griiix. I’m still learning and looking for the best way to set up the camera. It’s great to set all manually. ISO above 6400 is pretty noisy unless using the hi contrast b&w. Overall I’ve been doing some street and some landscape summer photography. I’m very happy with the sharpness of the lens and overall handling. I miss the x100f viewfinder at times though. Ill post some photos here.

Thank for sharing the images.

I have the same problem. My Fuji X100v is a lovely camera, but way bigger than the GRIII or GRIIIx. So I use the GRs a lot more than my X100v. There is no free lunch. As soon as a viewfinder is integrated, the size increases. But a tilting screen like in the X100v would be great on a Ricoh GR :)

Or even better, a pop-out viewfinder like in the Sony RX100 series would be great for extreme harsh light. I can always dream...

I transfer everything "raw" to phone & just teak them in Snapseed.. nothing fancy.
Normally all b&w but I'm experimenting leaving a hint of colour..
Any thoughts welcome on that welcome..I'm no professional.

If you insert them into your text, they will look even better. See instructions here:

That is looking a lot better. Your images have now the presentation/attention they deserve.
