Blow-in

A bright day here (high pressure) but below freezing. This mossy stone wall or dike is of dry stone construction and probably dates from 'inclosure or enclosure' which put common land in to private ownership....this was a much later process in Scotland than England and was generally from the 1840s onwards.

Thanks but no DRC on this one - that's partly why I posted it as I was very impressed with how the GRD4 handled the strong front lighting on the wall while still pulling out enough of the details in the shadow to the left. I do use the DRC quite a bit though (set-up on FN1 in MY2) and most of the time like the results on 'medium' - occasionally I think it can give 'chocolate box' results.

PS, 3 hours later and this green scene would have been very white
