The B&W texture of #1 and the composition of #2! Fantastic.
What PP are you applying? Some Silver Efex magic?

The first and fourth are jpegs straight from camera, no PP, second and third colour/B&W conversion with slight contrast alteration, last one also slight contrast enhancement. No other PP. I usually only shoot jpegs and try to squeeze as much as I can out of them! Also prefer to not touch OOC images if I can get away with it. Keeps me as close to my film days as possible....
BTW, that's where the GRD(1) rules!
 
Brilliant observation - great images - I share your philosophy on jpegs & PP.

Marcus, I like most the #1 photo. The shapes and surface texture are fascinating and the DOF and BW rendering add to it, too.
