The JJC RCA-2 cable switch for most Ricoh cameras

It arrived today and I've given it a little trial and it seems fine. It works with all my cameras. The switch itself is nicely moulded and fits in the hand more comfortably than the squarer-edged CA-1 I also have although it is significantly wider.

It's best feature is that it comes with two cables so it will work with the smaller and larger Ricoh usb sockets. The cables themselves are about an inch longer than the CA-1 at 70cm.

It's a remote shutter release. I don't think I can stretch the review out any longer, but am happy to answer questions if you have any.

It's nice to see 3rd parties making accessories.

Addendum: it also has a feature where you can push the button down and move it so it locks while pressed for continuous shooting. (You can achieve the same on the CA-1 if you switch it off while pressing the button)
 
I have one of these. It looks identical but is labelled "JCC LR Series Remote Switch". As far as I remember it came with only one cable. It works very well with my GXR. The only slight problem I have is that it is a battery powered unit and I do not always remember to switch off after use resulting in a flat battery.
