The Cat Walk

Well...to be honest if I had been using my A12 50mm it would (probably) have been in better focus! I had focused on the shop window display when the four guys stepped into the frame and just could not help press the shutter. Then cursed because of the lack of depth of field! Oh the pain and pleasure of the novice of the manual focus... ;)

Certainly qualifies as a nice shot to me. Glad to see streetshots in color, too...
 
It's a moment which you couldn't have planned. Four working class guys with yellow hats striding in front of a high class shop yellow window. Nice aesthetics!

Don't worry too much about the slight focus issue; the image stands out.
 
Thanks quester & game1980. The yellow and yellow was almost too good to be true! You could stand there for another life-time and this combination would never happen again... :?
But there are other possibilities waiting out there for sure! 8-)

IMHO Street image critique, I think this one works and works well.
I generally look for an interesting juxtaposition or some linking elements. often these are humorous.

I think you have got it here. The yellow hats against the yellow sign. Just the workmen contrasting the wealthy person's product also.
Much as game1980 said but I saw the wealth comparison initially. In reality those guys could be well paid?
