Beautiful. I can feel the work through this picture. Unique shot.

thank you for this comment. very kind......................and more to come later.
regards and merry christmas

Expressive shots, nicely done!

My favorite is still #1 : all the paraphernalia of the job are there and well seen - the logbook, walkie-talkie, pen, clipboards, phones, coke, the clock, etc., and all in good balance with the subject. AND, he is smiling a bit, which adds an important part to the story, as if he is telling us : "yes, it's crowded, late, and I'm tired, but this is OK, it's what I do, and here's where I do it..."

The last photo is also good, but tells a different story, it seems...and I always prefer to see photos of happy people....

Thank you all so much for your enthusiasm and encouragement. This is a very special place with good people. I feel at home here amongst you all. Bless you, merry Christmas and wishing you a happy, healthy and wealthy new year.

Yes, well done indeed. Lovely 'night time' atmosphere, tiredness oozing from his face....

Yes, I saw this as well, it seems we have some very skilled documentary type photographers here. Is this something the Ricoh's do well or just our luck.
While I like them all, all the images support the story with each other, I somehow gravitate to #1 as my favorite.

Being asked for, I would also choose the first photo as the best because of the well balanced light in the scene and also because of the man looking directly at me (for a quite long time although we do not know each other, hmm).
