The beach in black & white

Blow-in

We spent Easter near Brora which is about 50 miles south of John O'Groats on the Scottish NE Coast. Lovely clear weather and this is a GRD4 series in B&W (GXR still being fixed - flash catch broken).

Wonderful series Richard. The GRD really shines in black and white.
I particularly like images 4 and 5.

Cheers,

John

Great set Richard.

Particularly like the evocative footprints and the moored boat.

My GRD IV has been away (repairs) for almost 75 days. Longing to get back it back soon.

Guys, thanks for all the comments. I've posted 2 more below.

Nice processing, all of them. I also like the footprints and tied boat (beside the others) plus also #3 reminding hands pulling a bar.

Really good set Richard.
I particularly like the sense of motion in the running water of #1 and #3 for its abstract quality. Footprint works great because of the low angle of the light and the sharpness of the detail in the sand; well seen! And the boat shot made me look twice, just to work out what I was really looking at.
Thank you for taking us along on your Easter break! :)
