Very nice. Perhaps you could post larger files next time so they get bigger when you click in? The GRD4 is great for hill walking isn't it? Light to carry and ideal to pul from a pocket when you need a breather.

Very nice. I'm particularly fond of the B&W. When I used my GRD4 I used to get that feel and look but alas.....now my new camera doesn't know about that.....
Thanks for the breath of fresh air......

I've been to a number of web sites and blogs where the GR series were very much coveted by climbers. Its not just a street camera it seems.
Some climbers probably only want a small light easy to carry camera but still want high quality.
Probably the 28mm focal length was a good option for scenics around base camp but also while on the hill face.

While I'm no climber (except up hills) I've been on a number of bush walks myself and laden with backpack with jacket, hat, water, spare this and that and I often leave my OM-D home because of its weight and just take the GR.
I do like the Sigma DP2M as its quite light and yields immense detail but often the GR gets the nod by itself.

One of the first googled posts I found was this guy - http://blog.americanpeyote.com/2008/07/14/ricoh-gr-digital-climbing-review/

first, thanks to all :)
