Switch on bug

Hello folks,

I recently buy my first Ricoh GRD, I'm very happy with but there's is some bug I think
Sometimes when I switch On my camera the mode is different that I chose, for example the camera mode is set on" P mode" then I switch ON and on the Mode on the screen is often Scene mode.
Even if I try to change the mode camera don't respond...

Then suddenly disappear :roll:

Hi Albee and welcome here! I saw something like that with GXR. But it appeared just once and I was unable to reproduce it since then. The first thing I would suggest you is to update your camera with the latest available firmware (2.10 available >here<). The other thing you can try is to restore the camera settings (switch the camera to Green Camera mode, go to menu and here find Restore Defaults).

If neither helps, there is always a chance the mode dial on your GRD is broken?

The bug past away, I think that the problem was that I use sd card from my old canon S90, without formatting the card on the computer but only in GRD. After formatting the card in the computer twice... no more problem, Hope
