Supermacro mode with macro-rings...

Yes, i used my 3 Coso Macro-rings on my fine a12-50mm for these photography. with them i can get a half the distance, around 3 1/2cm now...

i still think the a12-50mm renders just beautiful and the "creamy" bokeh is just amazing.

all are unedited, out of cam... some in cross-processing mode...and one is in softfocus mode

the last 2 are edited. no art, but still

ok....great post but I must ask for details on the way you set your camera up. It ain't really about gear in that sense but about how your brain figured out how to get what you got.

im glad you like it. well, i empty my mind from all things like: i want to shoot this or that, about this or that, any imagination must go(in german imagination means "vorstellung", which means directly, you put an "image before" you. before you. how can you see whats real if you have an image in front of you?) so i do all pushing the knobs pretty spontaniious. only time if i am "trying" to do something with the cam, it is when i try to get different perspectives, because the perspective is nearly everything. so i blank everything, but consequent! so much that i even forget to make sometimes a picture. or i even ask myself why i have this black thing in my hand ? and than, suddenly my finger just starts pushing the big knob on this thing.....so the zen master would say: there is no shooting, while shooting. so i never go out shooting, i go out and sometimes i have a cam with me.

so to come back to your question, my brain didnt figured out anything. it couldnt. i still try to blank it.

it is all about letting go and intuition take control
