It is great to see this forum return after so many lost years, I originally joined in 2015 and always found it to be friendly and sharing and it is so nice to see it back again.
Thank you to the Admin team for resurrecting it once more and I am sure it will prove the ultimate forum for GR users.Z04 Carrot

Ooops, in hindsight I joined before 2015 as that was the year it closed..........apologies, must be having a "Brainfart" ;)

Thank you all. We will rock this place in the future. Z04 Smilieparty

Although it is GR-focused, we know that everybody is also using additionally other cameras too. From Ricoh/Pentax or from other brands. That is not a problem at all.

My intention with the GRuserforum is to make the Ricoh GR-line more well known and show its capabilities. It is not anymore a random compact camera. It is not just "cult".

With the introduction of the GR3 and GR3x with an APS-C sensor and 24MP, these beasts are a real competition for much bigger DSLRs and MLUs. They give my other systems a hard run for the money. Not only for street photography. For every kind of photography. Daumenhoch Smilie

I think every photographer, no matter which brand he is using, should have as an addition at least one Ricoh GR in his bag. This is in my view a "must have".

The GRuserforum shall be "the place", the platform for all Ricoh GR interested people to meet others, show their results and have a lot of fun with each other while experiencing the joy to use a Ricoh GR. z04 dance00

I just heard that Pentax is working on a film camera. After Leica resurrected the m6 and this forum is back in life… who knows?
All the best in 2023 GR friends.
