Sunset close to home

Taken close to my home in Essex. The cornfield sported a dead tree for effect as the sun went down. Behind me in a tree a lesser spotted woodpecker sounded the alarm.

Very catchy with great light, Pete. The only thing I am not truly sure about is the composition as the main target is concentrated in the lower left part so that the right and top become somewhat empty then.

Hi Peter, I understand what you mean. I was unable to position further left due to obstructions, also cropping would have left a square photo........and I did like the slash of blue sky. I will try out a couple of ideas and repost.
