These images raise questions in my mind too - why the tape? Is it to do with a closed sidewalk on the far side?

Anyway, I really like the first shot with the textures on the pavement/setts/knobbly bits - has a bleach bypass feel to it?

The town took a beating being in the path of Sandy. So there are cops everywhere to direct/ redirect traffic and maintain law and order; utility companies repairing electric and gas lines, etc.

It's been quite a feat cleaning up here...and many people have packed up and left permanently.

And yes, Richard, both shots were taken in BB mode.
