Taken with the S10 module during a walk in the forrest. The S10 does a good macro job provided you have enough patience for its focus time. Also because it takes longer to focus, for such macro shots unless you have a tripod, it is inevitable that you move for couple of mm while...waiting...so this again may ruin some shots. At any rate, when all conditions are met :D , the results are sharp and I like the angle of view at its widest setting.

it's hard getting nice colour from the S10.

Ahhgg, I hope not. I am selling off my LX3 and thinking about a GXR S10 as a replacement.
The LX3 is no colour king though, some described its colours like Walt Disney would use for a cartoon.

Do you have a S10 Athena or only the P10?

I only have the P10, but Marcus has the S10, and the colour seems to be a bit of a problem from that lens, hence, I only use my P10. Marcus has tried tweaking the settings on the S10 to improve the quality of the colour output, but so far, hasn't had much success. The same settings on the P10, however, produce better results. He's still working on trying to get great colour from the S10. B&Ws however, are fantastic from both lenses, so he uses the S10 mainly for B&W.

Thanks all for the comments!

Athena, I do not have the P10 but I find the S10 colours to be quite good, just looked back on a couple of photos taken with it but I haven't noticed anything wrong.
Some more taken with the S10, even used the Auto WB on the camera on developing from RAW, have not touched the colours, just increased the saturation a bit.
What I dislike about the S10 is the slow focus speed, especially when zooming...
