Some sand dunes colour on a dull day (GRD)

It's been a largely wet, windy & cool May so far in Scotland and today was no exception. With showers running-in off the sea under a brisk north-easterly I didn't expect to photo much on the Friday morning dog walk on the beach but slipped the GRD in the pocket of my waterproof jacket. It was dull (and wet) but I couldn't resist trying to photo some of the wild flowers. I find the GRD quite hard to use in these dull conditions as the monitor is not that helpful when judging exposure but when I get it more or less right I really like the way the GRD renders the colours. Here are 4 of the shots.

Some one has stolen my photo! The EXIF is there but where is the image?? It wasn't that bad (or good). I've posted it again:

Richard, great set of pictures, I like them all... I know that may appear as 'stupid' but I love my old dear continent much more than this sunny place in wich I'm now...
And then... As every good Italian... I love tagliatelle!!!

Beautiful photos Richard, well done.
#1 is my favorite. Is the blue flower a Hyacinthoides non-scripta (or: Scilla non-scripta)?

Thanks - one would hope that they are Hyacinthoides non-scripta but there has been quite an invasion of Hyacinthoides hispanica and there are now many hybrids - even the experts (and I'm not one of them) struggle to classify some of the plants.

They are every where at the moment and very delightful.

Re: Some sand dunes colour on a dull day (GRD) - (+GRD IV)

Genster, this one is for you in return for the bicycle shot.

A brighter day at the dunes. This was taken with the '35 mm' GRD IV (ie at x1.2 digital zoom) using the off-set focus in macro mode. Shame I didn't spot the stinging nettles until after I'd put my hand in them!
