Really like this mode in the PX. Sometimes does not focus properly on the foreground, but all-in-all gets the work done...

Stalagmite/stalactite .... hadn't thought of it in connection with that geological phenomenon, but you're right, that is exactly the right comparison. Thanks for looking Peter.
