slight movement in M Mount

Hi all, got my GXR with M mount and Zeiss 21mm lens yesterday. There is a very slight movement laterally (ie, in direction mount comes off) probably less than 1mm. Is this acceptable or should there be no movement at al? There is also a slight amount of play....probably about 1mm or less in the lens on the mount. Acceptable or not?

Pete, I don't recall any movement on my M Mount. It could be the locking tab so maybe try to put a little pressure on it to make it tighter.

I am not sure if you mean slight movement of the M mount unit on the GXR body or movement between the Zeiss lens and the M mount. Which ever it is it should not happen. I do not have any Zeiss lenses but my Leica M lenses and Voigtlander M lenses show no movement or wobble when mounted.
