Some shots of skateboarders at dusk, taken using a slowish shutter speed and fill-flash.







I am still not completely sure that I have figured out exactly how to configure the flash yet, but it is gradually starting to make sense...

I think awesome work here. They are all great but I think I prefer the second one for composition.
Whatever you do it results in a surreal look, a cartoon like colour to it.
The slight blur works well and the disconnection of the skater from their board is great timing

Great effect. It looks as if the youngsters were photographed in front of a wallpaper. Voting for #2 also.

Nice shots here, looks like you used 'slow sync setting' - certainly works though and I am surprised at the power the in built flash delivers.
