It was snowing this morning so I hoped for picturesque romantic castle in snow, with either harlequine and colombine or a girl with matches for stand-ins. Alas, tyhe snow stopped and melted away but anyway I went to the site and got another idea. Those puzzled by the Hitchcock way expression can get explanation at my post - one way traffic-senso unico. The cue - mr. Hitchcock used once this site for a scene for one of his movies. Stanislaw

Not only Hitchcock, but Michelangelo Antonioni as well - that first one made me think of "Blow-up". I enlarged the photo to see who exactly is doing the pointing under the umbrella! That hand pointing, the sphere and the castle make for a nice surrealism.
You have to go back to capture the bats flying out from the castle in the last one.....

Love them, particularly that last...Hammer House of Horrors film set!

Spode, castles name is Rosenborg and it´s in the middle of Copenhagen. The Crown juwels are kept there and with the Royal Guards barracks next to it they are pretty safe even if there was a guy trying to figure out how to snatch them ;) Stanislaw
p.s. disregard exif it`s from thecamera I duped the neg.

When I came back with the castle set and saw the drops on the wire mesh I realized there was one more I could take which I did following day. I used unusuall combination, impossible with GR in macro mode. Voightlander Cosina 15/4.5 to get as much background as possible with leica extension ring 16469 to get likewise close. Reminds parafraze the lyrics from Rolling Stones No Expectations
"My photo is like the water
That splashes on a stone
My photo is like the music
Its here, and then its gone . Stanislaw

That last image is really great. The reflection of the castle in the water-drop is brilliant. Also, quite a rare photo capturing Hitchcock himself!
