Scene modus: Question

New Member
I like to use the electronic shutter in "scene modus" (don't know why...):
I set the shutter speed with the up-down dial (watching the exposure indicator), and there is a little difficulty:
I do it again and again in the wrong direction.
How to change dial- or indicator-direction?

Christian

No answers, new question:

What's the matter with „One Press M Mode“?
Would be helpful in e-shutter-mode!

Hi Christian,

I'm sorry for missing your first post!

As for the scroll direction, I'm afraid, there is no such option in the GXR. As far as I remember, such feature has been implemented for the GRDI ADJ wheel. But since the replacement of scroll wheel with lever, Ricoh never reintroduced such feature. I will add it to my wish list for Ricoh folks. It may be definitely useful.

And you are absolutely right about the One Press M Mode! To be honest, I tried the silent shutter mode only now and I was pretty surprised to see that the One Press M Mode doesn't work there? I think you found a FW bug because the Exposure Compensation is pretty useless for Silent Shutter mode;) I will ask about this too.

BTW, I just found it works exactly the same in the S mode. But in my opinion, the Exposure Compensation is useless also in the S mode (at least for the M mount)? Or am I overlooking something?

Hi everybody. I have one question concerning electronic shutter in scene mode. When shifting ISO value from 400 ISO down, it jumps to ISO-LOW. No 200 ISO. Anybody `ve noticed it? Stanis
p.s. I have firmware 1.50.

Hi Stanis,
select in Setup Menu
ISO Step Setting 1/3EV
then you can choose ISO low, 250, 320 .....
