Makes sense:

Do Pentax SLR lenses still use a cam to stop down the aperture just before the shutter opens ?

I hope a faster GXR-II with integral EVF body is not delayed though.
 
Pentax Q is just first Pentax entry into mirrorless world. It would be a real surprise to me if they would stay with 1/2.33 sensor mirrorless camera. We will see what the future will bring us ;)
 
Ricoh's press release said something along the lines of the Q was marketed at young ladies and cretins.
 
I just hope that Ricoh does not abandon the GXR, it is after all an ingenious system. Specially with the possibilities shown like the hard drive or printer...
 
No way will the GXR be abandoned. It is here to stay.
It is evolving & will do so for some time. ;)
