Another one from this winter's "low zone" series...
Going upwind with the engine... ;) ...aboard of Tion IV, a beautiful ketch Endurance 35 from Belliure shipyard.

I have to look at this one for a bit. There's a lot going on here. Lines, contrasting light, fine detail, geometric symmetry.....

What I really like about this image Albert is how the main cable leads your eye to the top of the mast where the contrasting light boundary meets and from there the other cable leading to the opposite corner of the main cable.

And where the main cable meets the top of the mast it forms a T intersection. My mind is curious as to what is beyond the picture in both directions of the T. This is really good! :!:

Nice and sharp, great contrast, interesting split of the image into 1/3rds...and there is depth too, giving a 3rd dimension...I like it a lot!
Thanks for showing Albert.

Very nicely composed picture! Beautiful are the the sudden details of the upper left corner in this abstract komposition.

Very nice - love the detail on the back stay climbing in to the sunlight. That's a seriously strong looking rig.

Very beautiful glance, really.
This shows that the “photographic” subjects exist everywhere, it is simply necessary to know to open the eyes, but we always do not know! It would be interesting to know the complete creative process, to make it possible to the colleagues to progress, for example:
1- I raise the eyes: good, I have can be a good shot!
2- it would composition be better while moving has right?
3-now lighting would be more “graphic” has against day?
4-now that would be well, but is the first seedling dark, can be a flash of flash?
5-.....
Thank's for sharing !

Indeed very nice - there is a nice balance set up between the single and detailed cable on the left, and the rest of the lines.

Thanks to all for your comments, nice Xmas present... :D
I also think the back stay is key in this shot, an possibly, what also pulled my eye upwards as my finger went to the shutter release... :D ;)
