Hello Pavel,
This is the first time that I have posted on the Ricoh Forum so I would like to say hello to everyone.
You and I have a little in common and that is modifying the HA-3 adapters to fit on the P-10 lens. You will have heard about me through Gerd Waloszek on his superb website about the Ricoh GXR and its accessories.
Now comes the funny bit and that is that I am not the best of photographers and I am learning how to use the GXR P-10 and the Olympus TCON-14 telephoto and Jackar 0.6 wideangle lenses on my HA-3 modified adapters and I am quite pleased with the results so far. The photograph of the Walrus seaplane that is on this website posted by Gerd was the first time that I ever used the Olympus TCON-14 with the HA-3 back in September 2010 at the Southport Airshow in the North West of England and it was raining very hard and a strong wind was blowing at the time. So I was quite pleased with the results at that time.
What I am leading up to is the fact that people like myself are on a learning curve but back down at the beginning of the curve and learning by our mistakes like everyone else. Would it be possible for someone to have a column with beginners tips for the P-10 lens like for example manual settings -flash - indoor - outdoor scenes etc:
In time it could then lead to other lenses in the GXR group and make this website the best one for ideas and tips any were
on the world wide web for RICOH cameras. Well I might be expecting a bit too much but we have made a start by adapting the HA-3 adaptors and helping on this learning curve.
Regards Peter Watson.
