Went to a wedding as a guest, but brought my camera:eek:, and ended up with a set of 46 images for the bride and my friend the groom...:D

All pictures shot with a Ricoh GXR with M mount, the Voigtländer Heliar 2.0/50mm LTM nickel and the Nikkor 2.5/35mm LTM.

Bride and groom were impressed and very happy with my shots when I sent them over in web size (print size to follow by CD), other guests at the wedding were hanging over my shoulder to see my shots, I think I might be on to something here...:D

Good luck in your new career! I love the lighting in #2 & 5. So much better than the average wedding photos and great in B&W.

I like these very much - they are both very well composed and exposed, but I think that they are especially good because of the moments captured. The subjects are not looking into the camera, and the photos compliment the subjects - really good work, in my opinion.

I've to shoot a wedding in one year, and I'm so very interested by these photos.
What are the real focal of your GXR with a 35 and a 50 you used ?

I have been doing portraits for about 6 years now and have about 5 weddings under me to accomplish. I do very good studio and planned shots, but weddings are a whole different than all these. Lots of moving around, constantly changing light, and lots of people don't like having their picture taken. For the weddings, once I explained my level of experience, I tell my clients that they can pay me what they thought the photos were worth.
