I had missed that one until now. Too bad it is most likely the same aged 28-140mm zoom which not have real sensor-shift IS. I had hoped Ricoh would use the newer zoom in the WG-4.
The sample images is so so to me. NR is not doing detail in the trees or the ground much good and the oversharpening.
I've used the previous five cameras in this series and liked the 400G Wide best of these plus the 500SE. Ricoh started to lose it with the G600 which introduced zoom with slower apertures and smaller ccd than in the 500SE.
I'll probably not review this G800. At least at a first look it seems to similar to the G600 and G700 which I've tested. I've even written a small review of the G700.
