Ricoh CX1.

Hi I just found this forum today while sitting at my laptop reading reviews about the CX1.

I bought mine about a month ago and have taken some shots but not many yet.

My family and I all went out on valentines day and I brought I my Ricoh to take some shots.

Well the main point of discussion ended up being the CX1 for quite awhile and it was passed around the table of 6 other people.

Did not get much of a chance to take photos myself that evening.

Well in April my Philippino wife and I are going to the Philippines for a well deserved 3 week holiday and also my wife can see her family over there again after being here in Aussie for more than 2 years.

We will go to a resort in a place called, Boracay. It's claimed to have one of the nicest beaches in the world and we had our honeymoon there in 2006. Check it out. http://www.boracayonline.com/gallery/scenery.html.

Will take the CX1 with us of course and start using my camera.

HI freebeing and welcome on board! I'm sure you will find a lot of use for your CX1 at Philippines. The Boracay resort looks really great! I have never been in the place with so beautiful sand beaches. It must be a great place for holiday! Enjoy the CX1 and this forum and don't forget to post some photos from your holiday!

Philippines is like an island paradise and is really beautiful.

The people are lovely and I am really fortunate to have married one.

Love at 1st site.

Can't wait to take photos with my ricoh and am really excited to see some great support for ricoh users online.

My brother and I have been debating ricoh and cannon camera but to me ricoh just seems to have more soul if that makes sense.

Am also just staring my website and will post links etc to this forum, cx1/ricoh and photography.
