Just purchased a new GR111x, could some advise new how to register it with Ricoh? Is this necessary? Thank you so much.

I registered my cameras.
This applies to europe, but here in Finland most retailers only offer a 2y warranty and if registering the camera with Ricoh Before the 2y has passed, then it gives the owner an additional year of warranty, 3 years in total that is from Ricoh.
Many other EU states has higher warranty than this. If i buy a camera from Germany that is sold with 5y warranty and I'm resident in a state with 2y warranty laws then i cant claim the 5y warranty, this info i got from several vendors and manufacturers.
