Rare Ricoh 500GX

Just won this camera on ebay. Its a rare 500GX. It has the same serial number as the 500ME

So it will except the Ricoh SP winder. A spring loaded wind up winder.

Yes it is in very good condition. I will of course redo the foam seals. As all cameras from the 70 & early 80's foam has deteriorated by now.

This camera is special as the 500GX was early 70's & this looks just like a 500ME. I have a chrome 500ME with SP winder also.
Oh, and the winder makes a racket. No good for street or wildlife shooting. More for close sport or children at play type photography.

Mmmm.... Ricoh... 500GX... AllBlack...

I`m absolutely obsessed with this camera! Small, light, nicely built. My 500GX is standard chrome one. I resealed my few months ago and plan using it in times to come beside GRD3. You can see pics done with it in Dirty Brain Streets thread in Streetshots forum.
