I'm sure, many of you are worried about highlight clipping? 
Good news then! R8 seems does not perform any worse than its predecessor! The additional 2MP seems does not have a significant role here? Here is my "usual" dynamic range torture test.
R8: 28mm, 1/104, f3.3, ISO100, -0.7EV, Cloudy WB, Sharpness - Soft, Color Depth - Neutral, F3:2
