Hi all.
Just found this forum and as I have a Caplio R7 I thought i would join.
My R7 is used for everyday pics plus I like to attach it to my Remote control plane.
Hello Paul and welcome here! Clever use of R7! How big must a RC plane to carry the camera of R7 size? Do you have a pic of your plane with attached R7?
Hi Odklizec. Thanks for the welcome.
The plane i use has a wingspan of 1.3 mtr. It's called a Multiplex Easystar. The prop is mounted at the rear making it easy to have the camera facing forward without having a prop in shot.
I'm trying to find what settings will give me the best results with this camera. If any of you gurus have any tips, I'm open for suggestions.
Thanks for detailed info and photos Paul! It definitely looks great! I believe you have the camera in "interval" mode with focus set to Infinity? Do you use negative exposure compensation?

Hi.
The ''Interval'' function was the main reason i went for this camera. It's OK but it's nice to take a pic when you want. So i have added a servo to push the shutter button on command from my transmitter.
What is ''negative exposure compensation''. I did'nt set it to infinity. This is where i need help :?
Lots to learn..
Hi Paul,
your first picture is a good example of underexposed photography - it looks darken and there's low details level in the shadows areas. I guess this is the main reason why Pavel asked you about negative exposure compensation. Maybe this article will be interesting for reading: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exposure_%28photography%29
