OK, here is a Scottish door...from Evanton in Easter Ross.
Brilliant! I have been to Easter Ross, but I was very young and cant remember much. A great door and well taken sir

Must be Mick Jagger behind the door No.1

"I see a red door and I want to paint it black....." or is it Keef?

Here is a very old pic from a very old door. It must be the home of the Beatles. Look at the chalk writing:

"George,

I have waited for you here from 10:45 - 15:45 John :)

Now, for a change: No door! (St. Germain de Pres, 2008, my 60th birthday)
Gerd
Gerd,
your 'no-door' contribution has some rather nice windows along side!
I probably would not have notice the missing door if you had not mentioned it...

To lower the tone/reduce the heart-rate a little, I give you an old door from yesterday/yesteryear...in the shadow of Melk Stift on Danube.

a great door and great light. where was it taken?

These were not made by me, but I feel very conected to them. They are part of a project with children in street situation in Tetuan, Morocco. These children were protected by a local association named APISF that was helped (not as much as needed) by a spanish Foundation I worked for.
The idea (originally of a dutch NGO I think) was to provide them with little cameras (Olympus, I don't remember the model) and to teach them also to develop in a rudimentary lightroom. It was a great insight into their lives and entourage.
