Philadelphia Street Shooting with Streetshooter

Had a chance to meetup with Don "Streetshooter" this past week in Philly. I've posted a blog entry with more photos here:

Thanks all. Don's a great guy and a joy to hang with. I'm glad I finally got to meet him. He's been a great help to me and my photography. Plus he knows Ricoh cameras too!

Thanks Don and reddevil. Don I still love my Ricohs I just wish they'd come out with the newer APS-C version of the GXR-M. I would think it would be a big seller. Especially knowing how hard it is to get the new Leica M(240) and the issues those that have the new one are experiencing.

One of the issues you mentioned in your blog Don about Auto/ISO/Shutter settings is an issue with the new M too. Its a feature I don't use often with my M-E, but it works great when set on it. In the main menu settings on the M-E you can set the lowest shutter speed and the choices are: Lens Dependent, 1/125s, 1/60s, 1/30s, 1/15s and 1/8s. And then the highest ISO. Of course the M-E with the CCD sensor only goes to ISO 2500.

Then once that's saved you use the dedicated ISO button on the back to select AUTO ISO and you're set.
